If democrats and the rest of the country knows that vote fraud
...is coming again this November, why is nothing being done to stop this from happening? I guess the answer is to vote early..... and to vote as often and possible! :sarcasm:

Fraudulent Elections
Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulate or control elections.

Here is an article from yesterday's Washington Post about what is likely to happen in the November elections across the country:

Major Problems At Polls Feared
Some Officials Say Voting Law Changes And New Technology Will Cause Trouble

By Dan Balz and Zachary A. Goldfarb
Washington Post Staff Writers
Sunday, September 17, 2006; A01

An overhaul in how states and localities record votes and administer elections since the Florida recount battle six years ago has created conditions that could trigger a repeat -- this time on a national scale -- of last week's Election Day debacle in the Maryland suburbs, election experts said.

In the Nov. 7 election, more than 80 percent of voters will use electronic voting machines, and a third of all precincts this year are using the technology for the first time. The changes are part of a national wave, prompted by the federal Help America Vote Act of 2002 and numerous revisions of state laws, that led to the replacement of outdated voting machines with computer-based electronic machines, along with centralized databases of registered voters and other steps to refine the administration of elections.

But in Maryland last Tuesday, a combination of human blunders and technological glitches caused long lines and delays in vote-counting. The problems, which followed ones earlier this year in Ohio, Illinois and several other states, have contributed to doubts among some experts about whether the new systems are reliable and whether election officials are adequately prepared to use them.

In a polarized political climate, in which elections are routinely marked by litigation and allegations of incompetent administration or outright tampering, some worry that voting problems could cast a Florida-style shadow over this fall's midterm elections.

1. If Rick Santorum and Kathryn Harris should win 51%-49%
then we'll know for sure. Riots anyone?

3. Despite Jeb's rejection of her,
Kathryn Harris is still a godess here in Florida. Republicans are NOT going to cross party lines and vote for Nelson. Also, her boobs have sustained an attraction for a few of those male software programmers to help this November. A squeaker win for her is possible. Her ace-in-the-hole is she might threaten to sing about 2000 if the national GOP doesn't support her (in more ways than one).

5. That's my point, this is the fourth election and things have gotten
...worse not better regarding vote fraud. The e-vote machines should be banned, yet voting boards everywhere are in denial and installing these machines with all their vulnerabilities.

6. And don't forget the new voter reg databases.
"Eligible voter" has now been redefined to mean "voter on the database".

This is huge. Whoever controls the database . . . .

7. Choicepoint
stealing votes for repukes one state at a time....

<snip>

The Florida Republicans wanted to block African Americans, who largely vote as Democrats, from voting. In 1999 they fired the company they were paying $5,700 to compile their felony “scrub” lists and replaced them with Database Technologies , who they paid $2.3 million to do the same job.

There are a lot of Joe Smiths in the Florida phonebook. DBT was hired to verify which Joe Smith was a felon and which was not. They were supposed to use their extensive databases to check credit cards, bank information, addresses and phone numbers, in addition to names, ages, and social security numbers. But they didn’t. They didn’t use one of their 1,200 databases to verify personal information, nor did they make a single phone call to verify the identity of scrubbed names.

So where did DBT get their data?

From the Internet. They went to 11 other states’ Internet sites and took names off dirt-cheap. They scrubbed Florida voters whose names were similar to out-of-state felons. An Illinois felon named John Michaels could knock off Florida voter John, Johnny, Jonathan or Jon R. Michaels, or even J.R. Michaelson. DBT matched for race and gender, but names only had to be similar to a certain degree. Names could be reversed, and suffixes (Jr., Sr.) were ignored, but aliases were included. So the felon John “Buddy” Michaels could knock non-felon Michael Johns or Bud Johnson Jr. off the voter rolls. This happened again and again.

10. Does anyone here not see the hypocrisy in the fact that
it was Democrats that were found guilty of vote fraud in the 2004 elections? Does it not sound absolutely ridiculous that we were the ones that got caught, yet we're accusing them of doing it? If that's not hypocrisy, what is?

11. This is a bipartisan issue. There's no hypocrisy in being mad as hell
that our elections have been corrupted.
