8. I wonder how that 61% would feel if they were being tortured?
Or if it was a loved one that was held without due process and tortured as bu$h wants to.

10. It doesn't matter because Bush has convinced...
those 61% that they will personally be safer if torture is used. They are not interested in the whole picture, just their perceived safety.

11. I bet you would have seen the same results after Bataan
One of the USA good points is we did try not to fall to Japan and Germany ways but looks like some people like that stuff. These same people would have done well in Salem.

15. Appalling!! This nation doesn't deserve democracy.
Edited on Mon Sep-18-06 07:25 AM by TahitiNut
With that much rock-hard sociopathic stupidity, we don't deserve our liberties and freedoms, even as we lose them. It's long been said that people get the government they deserve. I mourn for this nation - it's gonna get a LOT worse. We're an outlaw nation and headed for the deep end of the sewer.

16. I guess there are a lot of people who are totally in denial
about what is happening in this country, they are in for a rude awakening, and I'm not talking about religion.
