they still haven't cleaned up New Orleans..."

I don't normally watch the View but I've been watching to see the sparks (which haven't) fly between Rosie and Elizabeth H.

They're comparing Clinton dinners with Bush dinners...

But !Shazam! Rosie and Joy are slamming on Bush. :hi:

One edit: "They say George Bush read 60 books last year..." "Yeah like 'See Spot Run'"

3. No kidding!
That's exactly what I was thinking! I think of myself as a pretty avid reader, but I get nowhere near 60 books read in a year.

4. I wish I had eyesight!
Back when I could see, I read at least three books a week. When I lived in Boston and commuted by subway, I read more than that. I was one of those page at a glance readers.

I haven't been able to read comfortably for about 10 years. I haven't been able to read more than 10 minutes at a time, laboriously, with a headache and nausea resulting, for the past 5 years.

60 books a year isn't that much, averages out to slightly more than one a week, an hour of reading before bedtime.

I just don't think Stupid is doing it. He's a Cliff Notes kinda guy, a Reader's Digest abridged version kinda guy. There is no way he'd read anything unless he could cheat.
