What would happen if Americans hacked the machines on Election day
and instead of voting for the democrats, voted for Guy Fawkes instead?

Do you think it's possible? Would it demonstrate once and for all how vulnerable the machines are?

Would Americans finally listen and see for themselves how the voting process has been corrupted?

Would Americans have the guts to do it?

What other solutions are there to the corrupted voting process short of an anarchistic act like this?

1. That's the idea my dh had.
Hack it so a total unknown wins 90% of the vote. Then we'll see who squawks.

4. I'd like for us all to show up with baseball bats
and just beat the electronic machines to a pulp.

Someone else had the idea of everyone choosing to vote absentee because there's a paper ballot.

The real problem is that the counting of votes isn't transparent.

13. Oh, I LOVE that!
Somebody try to convince me that we shouldn't try that.

As another poster said, if Repukes thought they would lose because of the machines they'd be gone in a millisecond.

And welcome to DU!

:hi:
