4. DUers are all on non-fly list.
And the TSA has just started a new list, called the "Must Crawl List".

Seriously, I believe that iPods are okay. I hope so. I'm flying to the East Coast in mid-October and I am depending on my iPod to get me through the flight. It's a Red Eye that leaves LA at 12:15 AM. Yikes!

Now, if only I can get that iPod battery replaced cheaply.

8. iPods are ok once you are up in the air-It's not too bad a flight
I just got back from taking the Red Eye to NYC and it was fast and easy going with the jet stream. Jet Blue even has a 38channel Direct TV cable hookup. I was surprised. And, no I wasn't on the no fly list.....Was kind of worried about it though, as I had been boycotting the airways since 911 (until now, when I had no choice but to fly).

10. Electronics are OK
One new rule though. Laptops have to be stowed overhead. No more leaving them in your seat pocket during takeoff and landing. I'd go berserk without my CD player. Yesterday in Minneapolis, we got delayed because of weather in Chicago. In a really cool thing, the pilot pulled the plane out to the actual runway, shut it down, and said, you can use your electronic devices until we get word to go. And this was Northwest, mind you, notorious for leaving people sitting on the tarmac for hours with nothing to do, nothing to eat, and nothing to drink.

9. Come to the airport naked carrying everything in clear plastic baggies...
It'll make your "random selection" strip search go much more smoothly.
