Geez, it must be something in the water!
Just last week, George W. Bush, the man who calls himself the President of the United States, said he did not know the definition of 'human dignity.'

During a press conference last week, W said "What does that mean, "outrages upon human dignity"? That's a statement that is wide open to interpretation."

Now, enter Stephen Hadley, Bush's National Security Adviser. Appearing yesterday on CNN's Late Edition, Hadley said "I'm saying that nobody knows what humiliating treatment is. What does it mean?"

This is an Administration without ANY moral compass whatsoever, or any sense of right and wrong. Whatever they want to do, is what they do.

2. Here's a clue:
humiliation is what we all feel at having this moron as president. The Democrats have to counter this "nobody knows what torture is" meme.

Ask those still barely surviving over a year after Katrina struck Stevie.

This sickens me.

5. Hmm give me ten minutes with Hadley alone
and I am sure I can show him what humiliation means, and I don't even need to force feed him and let him crap on his pants, or anything like that. Just ten minutes, that is all I ask.

Jeezus age, what is wrong with these Fascist's?

8. He cannot define "human" or "dignity".
So this is no surprise.

9. Justice Potter Stewart said he couldn't define pornography but
that he knew it when he saw it. Certainly there are degrees of humiliating treatment but consider this...

Is forcing people to undress and be stacked in a pyramid for the amusement of their captors humiliating?

Does forcing a prisoner to masturbate for the amusement of their captors humiliating?

We don't have to quibble about the things that might fall into some gray area, Bush has already permitted that which no reasonable person would deny is humiliating. We knew it when we saw it.

11. Bingo!
You know it when you see it. It's really not that hard.

10. His 'answer' to the question asked @ 10:30 minutes into the hissyfit...
... struck me as well. How can anyone (who isn't a sociopath) not know what outrages upon human dignity are??? This seemed to me to be an open admission of sociopathy.

12. His small mind can't deal with a concept like "dignity".
It can't be reduced to a sound bite or a quickie definition by a handler. You either know what it is or you don't. He doesn't.
