From now on, I am taking Keith's lead and referring to him each time, every time, as Mr. Bush. It is so much more accurate. The * is to indicate that he was never truly elected and therefore is President by title only. Well fuck that. I like Keith's way better. He is no President, in title or otherwise. I hear it out of his mouth, and each time love it. Mr. Bush. There can be no greater disrespect in my opinion. So from here forward, I will refer to him simply as Mr. Bush. Fuck him.

30. No, It's To Signify The Asterisk In The History Books From Him Being

SELECTED by the supreme court. Since he didn't win the popular vote and in the end the count in Florida actually went to Gore, Mr.Bush was only sworn into the seat due to an unprecedented Supreme Court ruling. Therefore, the asterisk represents his having not won the election. Much like if someone breaks a sports record under different terms or rules, there may be an asterisk next to their name as well.
