Our Gas Prices are All Over the Place this morning.

The Shell station close to me is 196.9

All the other stations up and down the street are at 2.099.

I don't think I will ever understand just how the companies price their stuff.

The Shell Station is doing a good business.

yesterday about it being under $2.00 and went to the station here and spent $2.69 for my diesel but I noticed that our regualr prices were well over $2.00. Is Missouri always that much lower than Kansas? Taxes?

Just wondering, I got a bit of a shock thinking the price would be lower!

and in a battleground district. DesMoines Iowa continues to be among the countries lowest while where I live a hundred miles away we are about 30 cents higher. But don't ever get the idea that low gas prices have anything to do with Republicant politics.
But for every dollar you save today, better put away two to pay for the increase thatwill "surprise" us after the election.

is Pepsi, Coke, milk, eggs etc the exact same price everywhere?

My point is that these folks will price based upon current market conditions, current income needs and, of course, wholesale cost. While wholesale cost should be the same (or very close to it), there are many variables that dictate what store A charges as opposed to store B
