Is the current P.M. of Thailand a bushbot?
I read this in LBN, but don't know for sure. If so this Thai coup is a huge development on the international scene. (Surprised I don't see any other posts about it!)

1. saw on CNN that he is a billionaire that was accused of
buying the "landslide" elections he was in. Guess diebold cut a deal with him as well.

2. There are more ways than Diebold to steal an election.
I think the coup there is interesting, because if it is against a rightwing government, that is somewhat unusual.

3. Three members of their electoral commission were just sent to jail
for fraud in the last election. Apparentely they were involved in vote buying and falsification.

All opposition parties actually boycotted the last election considering it to be illegitimate, and the Supreme Court later agreed and nullified the results.

4. He's like the worst parts of Bush and Berlusconi put together
Richest man in Thailand, owns a mass media empire, known for massive corruption, payouts to cronies, selling the country out to foreign interests and stealing elections.

5. He's a populist
They need major reform in Thailand but it won't be possible as long as the military is allowed to meddle in politics.

6. Shinawatra unleashed a "drug war" that killed thousands a couple
of years ago. National and international human rights groups screamed long and loud, but to little avail.
