13. Quite a number of years ago, I spent some time in Canada.

With hanging around a bunch of guys, shooting pool and getting high, I managed to learn a bit of profanity. The very worst swearing had something to do with putting your communion bread in the gift box at the tabernacle.
Most of the french profanity had to do with religion, rather than body functions--english profanity just doesn't translate well.

However, a missed shot or some other misfortune on the table did not bring up french profanity-too cumbersome--it demanded something simpler and "sh*t" or "F*CK" were the words of choice.
