Prewriting History: GOP Holds against Dem insurgency in Midterms?

History has already been written. Bush got a big boost in the "polls" lately, up to %44 (not that I believe it) and that plus the lower price of gas has allowed the GOP to push a plausible cover story for the theft of the midterm ELECTIONS.

Call me cynical, but we have seen it time and time again.

All it takes to steal the elections is the perception of plausibility (and rigged TABULATORS - why bother rigging voting machines?). The cover story was floated on Drudge today. %44. We lose yet again.

how do you win a game that's rigged? By not playing? Works for gambling, but not elections.

The buzz about the machines is out there, but that's all it is - buzz. In the minds of most, it gets filed under "conspiracy theories" right next to the circular file (aka trashcan).

2. I've been saying it for a while...

The media is way overplaying the possibility of a Dem takeover of the House/Senate.

So, if we come up short in either house, it will be sold as a huge Republican victory and/or the failure of Howard Dean.

3. They Will NEVER Let Dems Take Control Of Either House

Too much at stake. They didn't steal the last few elections just to be prevented from finishing up their agenda without interference.

The Dems will pick up a couple of seats, but not enough to close the gap. The SPIN will be how the repubs managed to hold onto their CONTROL, and that the Amerikan people(MORONS that they are), believe they are the best party to lead us.

"They" don't care about too much past their profit - they shouldn't, that profit motive is their job. They are not going to back a loser. And I think the are not backing the gop so much this time.

Could this get close enought to be stolen?? Maybe - but we will have powerful friends on this.

I really think - we need to have proper monitors in place this time.

As long as we have 5 points going in, only Jesus Christ could steal it.

6. Exactly what we were saying two years ago.

I am very nervous and getting increasingly more so. These people are so masterful at "perception management" and the American Public is such an avid and educated consumer of the same that things can be changed in a moment. Literally!

Until a Democratic Congress is sworn in I will have a keen sense of trepidation. I hope it is misplaced.

10. You are probably right to have reservation/concern.

Good to be vigilant.

BUT- every day I get a little more comfortable with this election. I don't see it on CNN - (I don't see a LOT of things on CNN). But it is there.

I don't see it in defensive terms, either. You believe your going to win and you win - I see it like that.

And I see, we are not just going to win - its more than that now.

To be "run out of town on a rail" - we invented the term, as Americans - I see this happening.

7. and the republican party's fradulent wins this november

will be paraded about as a "mandate" and a proof that this is what americans have wanted all along setting the stage for the ascension in 2008 of jeb to the throne.

there is WAYYY TOO much power, money, and influence at stake here. the republicans have stolen every election since 2000. no amount of naive bolsterism and cheerleading can change the very dark nature of their quest.

8. Here's the drill

for not all that many years now races have been "too close to call" or "Neck and Neck", etc..

THIS is how they steal elections and create polarizing in the public, the IMPRESSION of polarization makes people argue, divide and conquer.

The "neck and neck" or "the race is withing the margin of error" is a SCAM, the design is to get the result that the election RESULTS are LESS than the 2 or 3% that requires LEGALLY a RECOUNT. They refuse to recount or open the BOX and investigate, hence even tho it could have "gone either way" SOMEHOW it falls THEIR WAY, and then they start SCREWING US to the wall.

They AREN'T WINNING, races Never used to be this way, at some point there was a tipping point or a surprise and SOMEONE would ZOOM AHEAD to WIN..

ROVE'S WAR AGAINST US includes the Media promoting this SCAM, watch for it in nearly every race, even when you KNOW the Repig is REVILED by everyone you talk to, and that it' flatly impossible that so many would even consider voting for the scumbag.

CALL IT when you see it, and remind people this ISN'T the way it Used to be, and mathmatically Impossible - for nearly ALL races to be Neck and Neck is the BIG LIE.
