1st time since Dec '05--majority of people did not say Iraq was mistake:

EEEKS-----what the heck?

http://reuters.myway.com/article/20060919/2006-09-19T054341Z_01_N19339744_RTRIDST_0_NEWS-BUSH-POLL-DC.html

.....For the first time since December 2005, a majority of people polled did not say the war in Iraq was a mistake. The respondents were evenly split at 49 percent to 49 percent, the report said.

However, the poll finds that the Iraq war continues to be a problem for Bush. Sixty percent said he does not have a clear plan for handling Iraq and 75 percent said Iraq is in a civil war, USA Today said.

The telephone poll of 1,003 people was conducted September 15-17, and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.

4. But why is it trending this way? What possible explanation could be given
...for more people suddenly APPROVING of the war??? That is absurd! No one watched his stupid-ass sales pitches, and even those who did sure didn't hear one thing NEW. This is pure crap. Here comes the fourth and final stolen election. After this, they will no longer need to.

We're fucked.

5. We can't underestimate Rove
They all have their marching orders: talk radio, FoxiNews, Congress, BushCo. They march in lockstep. It is very effective.

How many times can I say it? Everyone one of us predicted this crap...no election stealing without tight races, and suddenly BushCo and republican candidates are up kissing the MOE, and NOW THIS? Now Americans are suddenly split on the war, too?

BULLSHIT!

There is no reason for this. Why the shift, simply because the election is getting closer?

BULLSHIT!

As usual, something stinks bigtime.

9. ... What you said! It's total B.S.
There hasn't been a Rethug on a talking heads panel (except at Faux) in the past few months who hasn't admitted that this "sales pitch" about the war hasn't worked because the people are growing immune to Chimpass' fear-and-smear tactics.

The only thing that may have changed is Miss Karla Rove's campaign to discredit the Dems -- people still think Chimpass & Co. are inept but they're being told how "scary" the Democrats would be in comparison. It's political fear-mongering and it's apparently working ... at least according to SOME polls.

11. The Thai PM was in New York for
the UN speeches and look what happened to him..

snip~

"Thaksin's critics want to jettison his policies promoting privatization, free trade agreements and CEO-style administration.

Opposition to Thaksin gained momentum in January when his family announced it had sold its controlling stake in telecommunications company Shin Corp. to Singapore's state-owned Temasek Holdings for a tax-free $1.9 billion. Critics allege the sale involved insider trading and complain a key national asset is now in foreign hands.

Thaksin also has been accused of stifling the media and mishandling a Muslim insurgency in southern Thailand that flared under his rule."

Much more..

I hope you don't think this is a non sequitor.

12. They're talking about terror 24/7 and the media is their willing partner.
So therefore people flock to their big tough daddy (or the actor who plays him on tv) bunnypants.

13. There are some people out there who need a good slapping
75 percent say it's a civil war. 49 percent say it was a good idea. This does not compute. I'd like to see how those questions were phrased.

14. Here's the drill
for not all that many years now races have been "too close to call" or "Neck and Neck", etc..

THIS is how they steal elections and create polarizing in the public, the IMPRESSION of polarization makes people argue, divide and conquer.

The "neck and neck" or "the race is withing the margin of error" is a SCAM, the design is to get the result that the election RESULTS are LESS than the 2 or 3% that requires LEGALLY a RECOUNT. They refuse to recount or open the BOX and investigate, hence even tho it could have "gone either way" SOMEHOW it falls THEIR WAY, and then they start SCREWING US to the wall.

They AREN'T WINNING, races Never used to be this way, at some point there was a tipping point or a surprise and SOMEONE would ZOOM AHEAD to WIN..

ROVE'S WAR AGAINST US includes the Media promoting this SCAM, watch for it in nearly every race, even when you KNOW the Repig is REVILED by everyone you talk to, and that it' flatly impossible that so many would even consider voting for the scumbag.

CALL IT when you see it, and remind people this ISN'T the way it Used to be, and mathmatically Impossible - for nearly ALL races to be Neck and Neck is the BIG LIE.

16. This is the same Gallup poll that shows Bush at 44%
Bush at 44% and the Democrats and Republicans tied at 48%. Isn't it clear now that they OVERCOUNTED Republicans?

Isn't this what Gallup does in EVERY election? Then two or three days before the election they begin giving accurate numbers and suddenly the numbers swing in favor of Democrats, which they then turn to to demonstrate their "accuracy?"

I don't believe it and suggest that none of you believe it either.
