Somethings. I know tht Matthews was in the Peace Corps...but if you look at what he did it was TRADE and not as he portrays it. I don't know what Rich did during that time...but the "wink, wink and nod, nod between them on MSNBC really made me ILL. How many Vietnam Vets here on DU were DRAFTED because they couldn't GET OUT OF IT!
DISGUSTING!
Caveat...My hubby was in Medical School and got "out of it" because of that...and females in military weren't a factor for me at that time.
STILL...Damned "ENTERTAINERS" covering up VIETNAM when they pumped stuff against those like GORE and KERRY who DID SERVE!!!

went to Vietnam? What I feel sad about is that we knew when we were coming home. Those troops in Iraq never know when they will go home for good. We have to stop that war and bring them all home now!
