7. My parents had spinach

I asked them what they did. My 77 year old mom, and 86 year old Dad said, "Well, we'd already eaten half before we heard the warnings, we felt ok, so the next day we ate the rest." Then my Dad added with a twinkle in his eye, "So how long does it take to get ecoli."

8. How sweet and they're right. I did the same thing, and I live in TX.

But I had cooked a whole bag before the 'scare' and was feeling fine.
This is one of the states that hasn't been affected. I still have a bag. "Should I eat it?" I think so, and am sorry for all the growers/farmers who can kiss their crops good-bye this year, as well as the sick folks.
