Poll: Sensenbrenner vulnerable!
This is a message from Bryan Kennedy's campaign in WI-5:

Since my run in 2004, all of the campaign's hard work in building a base has significantly changed the landscape in our district. With your help, I can win in November. Our polling figures show:
・The numbers of self-identified Democrats in the district have increased significantly since 2004 (up 13% to 35%), while Republicans are down 11% (from 55% to 44%)
・Jim Sensenbrenner's personal and job approval ratings have plummeted since 2004 (46% negative and 49% positive)
・Nearly half of Sensenbrenner's support is weak and vulnerable to persuasion
・Bryan has pulled within striking distance of achieving an unprecedented victory in November, with our informed trial heat showing a narrow gap of only 8 points between Bryan and Sensenbrenner. (41% - 49%)

Your contribution will literally make or break this election; if we have sufficient financial support, we can oust Jim Sensenbrenner and replace him with a more moderate candidate. We are working on three different TV spots and you can help us get them on the air ASAP!!

4. There's an audio of Sensenbrenner officiating a voice vote
The "no" was clearly louder (from the Dems) and he said the "yeses" had it! Randi Rhodes used to play it.

9. That will be my next project after we get Bryan elected.
But in some ways thats even harder since we don't have a strong candidate and Ryan is not nearly as easy to despise as Sensenbrenner, who is obnoxious!

13. Ugh! Ryan! went to High School with that
brown noser. Why do you think it's difficult to find a good candidate for that district?

16. $$$
Ryan has money, its hard to run against that. There were a couple of good Dems in the primary this year, but no one who really stood out. The sixth district is even worse for getting someone good to run... working on it.

17. I wish our voting system had the ability to cause
Sennsenbrenner, any thought, to pause because he is so wrong. Until we fix our voting system and make it transparent, I know he is counting the votes-declaring himself the winner.

19. I think he takes for granted the seat is his
like anyone who's held an office for 28 years. Eventually they lose. I haven't heard of voting problems in the fifth district, have you? The only WI problems I hear of are always in Milwaukee.

7. kennedy
We have to get ALL democrats in this district to vote
This is one of the most important if not the important districts in America
We must defeat Adolph Sensenbrenner now, we can and we will

My races in Oregon are not in play, and we have a solid Dem base
That is why I am working to help get Bryan elected and rid the US of
evil Sensenbrenner

20. Good news! but I take internal polls with a grain of salt especially
when they are released publicly. But if it is indeed a strong Democratic year Kennedy may turn it out and it is great that he has been able to build an effective organization.

23. I live in his district and I don't see this being the case.
The self-indentification number could not have possibly swung that much.
