I feel that Busholini is a Silverspoon Sociopath, the worst Pres in recent US History and a sadistic, arrogant ASSHOLE. I am real disappointed in Bill Clinton in many ways but this top them all.

14. That's what I think...
Just because you give backrubs to female German chancellors and fart in front of White House interns, that doesn't make one a nice guy. From everything I've read from those who've been around him, he's a garden-variety asshole with mental problems.

5. maybe, but politickin' ain't the place for W!
Edited on Wed Sep-20-06 09:32 PM by Drum
Even nice people get into situations that are way waaay beyond them. GWB appealed to something in a lot of voters, probably the overwhelmed-by-it-all-but-barking-loudly aspect of him.

Some people's idea of an ordinary or dim guy who's scrappy anyway...
Now we all know that it makes a very lousy idea for a President, one particularly known for bad ideas, bad advice, and bad judgement.

We should---as soon as possible---return W and his pals to the bucolic country lifestyle that claim, the very heartland for which they sacrifice so many native sons.

6. I don't know -- I've never met the president.
Plenty of incompetent people are "nice."
Plenty of people who are horrible to work with are "nice" on a personal level.
Hell, plenty of evil people are "nice."
They pal around with your kids, treat your mom with respect, compliment your cooking.

Whether the president is a "nice" person or not is really irrelevant to his ability (or, more directly, his inability) to govern.

As a president, Bush is a weiner and an idiot. He's a piece of shit. But as a person, he might be fun to hang out with. He kinda reminds me of the class clown types I hang out with. He's kinda dim, but he'd probably be fun to party with. :hide:

16. I live in Jim Leach's district and many describe him as nice
I told one local Dem who said that in no uncertain terms that those who have policies or support people who espouse policies that are anti-humanity can never be in my view "nice guys". When I was growing up I could never say that those who supported racist practices could ever be considered "nice" people.
I hear people say all the time "I don't hate Bush, I hate his policies." Well I am hear to say I hate the man because of his policies. Period.
Quit the bullshit, Bill Clinton. That little boy in the White House brings shame to our country. He deserves to not to be given a pass because he has a cute smile.

Most everyone who meets him says he's charming and affable. His politics are horrible, his policies a disaster but that doesn't mean one on one, just as a person, he isn't a nice guy. I have a few aquaintences that are total assholes in their business lives but cool people away from it. Considering he's a silver spoon, elitist cocksucker it's doubtful but you never know.

Edited on Wed Sep-20-06 09:40 PM by HypnoToad

(Bush Sr is saying "What's this hemorrhoid behind me?")

(Bush Jr is saying "Yummy, shit's never tasted this good!")

(Can you tell?)

(Clinton must be thinking "I'm starting to fit in after all these years!!")

(Bush Sr isn't exactly happy...)

(Hmmm)

(Hmmm x2)

(Well golly shazam! Guess who is trying to (badly) hide a look of not-happy? Why it's Bush!!)

(Wear your glasses and look the other way!)

(obvious)

(DAMNING, ISN'T IT??)

And a quaint little animation of Bush Sr vs Clinton:
http://www.livejournal.com/userpic/22226762/1683511 (click to view)

(I wish I kept the Time magazine from 2001 that has Jr looking angry at Clinton as they shook hands on Clinton's way out... "OUCH!" doesn't begin to cover it, but these dudes hate Clinton. That or I'm really misinterpreting a bunch of quickly found context-less pictures. )

30. Clinton never says a bad thing about anybody.
Despite the devilish image the freeptards have constructed of him, the truth is that Clinton never says anything bad about anyone. To the contrary, he always goes out of his way to either say nothing about someone, or to say something positive, as he did in this case.

In fact, one reason I know Clinton is on God's side and Freepers aren't, is because Clinton behaves like Jesus in the midst of his ememies, while his enemies act like demons in his presence.

(Not saying Clinton is God; just saying that if there IS a God, Clinton is less of a sinner than his political opponents are.)

in Clinton's case his stepfather. The desire to please and placate.

The children of alcoholics can also grow up to be mean and petty. Especially if the alcoholic is responsible for the child's Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. That's the case with bush jr.

39. Does Bill Clinton have to scream as loud as we do?
Some things to keep in mind:

First, he's in a different position than we are. It's acceptable for US to be "mad as hell". For Clinton, that would be a major blunder -- kind of like if the Pope bad-mouthed the Muslims. So instead, he's treating them the with kind of respect they disdain to show anyone else.

Second, he's never failed to make the Republicans look bad by just this kind of civil behavior.

Clinton's political nuances are unimportant now -- he's a symbol of the Democratic Party, and everything the vulgar Republicans hate. All he has to do is to outclass them, and he wins.

And we win.

You say you don't like Clinton? Fine. But it's a win anyway. A freebie. Even if you're fashionably cynical. So enjoy.

the dumbass isn't nice:

He's responsible for the murder of thousands of innocent people.

He has ordered and approves of torture.

He is a pathological liar.

He takes no responsibility for his actions.

He enjoys belittling people.

He is arrogant.

He is a coward.

He is a spoiled, overindulged rich kid who has never worked an honest day in his life and is contemptuous of everyone but the "have and have mores."

There is nothing "nice" about chimpy. He's a piece of shit through and through.
