6. A kick for those who haven't heard the speech

Heard quite a bit of it on KPFT, quite good and who cares if it's a tiny bit OTT in places, he's one helluva better leader than the 'leader of the "free" world'.

I see Chavez in a different light because of Chomsky -- first because I've read Chomsky enough to gain a great appreciation for ANY leftist leaders in the Americas who manage to survive the grist mill/meat machine of attempted coups, infiltrations, agitation, and propaganda thrown at them from the 'neighbor to the North'; and secondly, when I saw Chavez cheerily holding up 'Hegemony & Survival' while seated on an airplane many months ago, I knew he ..gets it.

Perhaps he knows what's good for what ails us.


How wonderful if all those copies (that has put the book on the bestseller list) would get passed around.
