I don't like Pickles much, either,
but I'm not going to rain on Bill's very worthy fund-raising parade just because he has involved someone whose politics I dislike. The Clinton Global Initiative has the potential for doing a lot of good for a lot of very poor people, especially with megabucks Branson contributing all that money, and if Pickles adds something positive to that, I'm all for it.

8. Whoever does good, is good. At least while they're doing good.
And while they're doing good, I'll not say anything bad about them.

Furthermore, is our Bill still a piece of work or not? The guy can get Pickles involved in a worthy cause...yes, he's still got the goods. He's still The Man.

40. The more $$$, the better!
I've been giving to: http://www.africanwellfund.org/FAQ.html

for a couple of years now. The idea that people living on this planet don't have any water is pathetic. Anything Clinton can do to change that is fine by me.

He's going to be on Keith Olberman Friday. I know KO isn't on your Christmas card list, but it's always nice to hear what a real president has to say!

it's Pickles and other Republicans like Dole, Bush etc who need Clinton to get their names on something good as they themselves wouldn't be able to get the response taht Clinton himself gets.

i wish someone would ask him how it feels to be used like that.

but I was wondering, are you by chance, left-handed? My brother and one of my best friends are, and they both finish a sentence then start another one right after the period without any spaces.Just like this.

My brother is quite brilliant, so it's not meant as a derogatory question. I was just wondering since 2 people close to me do it, I've never asked anyone else. Maybe it's just coincidence they do that and happen to be left-handed?

what does that mean then!!! lol Anyhow. He's a brilliant brother. He's very smart at figuring electronics out and very sensitive and private (non-ego). But, does he blow at writing and typing (this does not mean any other LH people do, I'm speaking about my brother). He will certainly get a kick out of this. I don't know what it means, but I wonder if there's any other LH folks who do this. I'm sure there's a lot that don't, but how bizarre that I saw that in your posts and thought of my brother and friend! It sorta creeps me out too. Wonder why the brain is doing that?

Hey, I'm gay, I don't know why I am, but that's just the way my brain is wired, wish I knew the reason I am the way I am in that capacity.

Thank you for being so honest and non-threatened by the question, friend.

48. that is so awesome!
to have you be chosen is a special thing for him (and you), because I told my friend, Amy, who is lesbian in her sexuality, and I was terrorfied, because they all thought of me as this straight-laced Christian they couldn't talk to, but she quickly latched onto me as someone she could trust, and I couldn't NOT be trusting of her. I cried, she laughed and said, "ahhhh, it's gonna be okay, you think it would bother me!"

I'm so glad he told you. There's been many stories of people telling the WRONG people first and either clamming up for life, hiding it, or doing worse.

I always used to tease him and tell him he is not borrowing my red spike heels which always cracked him up.I really love him!!!

Look at the stark contrast between what bush is involved in, and what Clinton is involved in.

She is liked by most Rethugs and many Moderate Dems. Many on DU view her as a phony and an air head on some sort of tranq. Yea, I view her that way. If she wants to help that is a good thing. It doesn't make Busholini less of an Asshole. Bill Clinton is trying to be above partisan politics and working on projects that are helpful to people that aren't rich. Perhaps his motives are actually genuine. Who really knows?
