A modest proposal (the torture debate)

To settle once and for all whether the techniques used by the CIA are torture, let's require members of bush's administration and Republican Congressional leaders to experience these techniques live on TV. We hear a lot about water boarding, let the American people watch as it is performed on Bill Frist or Alberto Gonzales.

Let's let the media know we want a real live demonstration of these interrogation techniques so we can decide if it is torture or not. We also want those who advocate the use of these techniques to volunteer as subjects of this experiment. Some of the techniques will have to be filmed because they take hours or days to get the desired effect, but waterboarding can be done quickly so it will not interfere with advertisers.
