3. Any woman who is sexually active
or who has prospects of becoming so needs to go to her OB/Gyn for a scrip for birth control pills. Some of them can be used for EC, which is basically what Plan B is, an overdose of hormones to stop ovulation or implantation, depending on the point in the cycle when it's needed.

No one will protect our health unless we are willing to do it ourselves. I'm afraid many women in this country are going to find themselves victimized like the author of this blog was.

Religion has NO BUSINESS dictating medical practice. Any health care professional whose scruples prevent him/her from providing full, legal, and appropriate care should get the hell out of patient care areas and go into bureaucracy where they can't hurt anyone.
