September 4,--prelimenary reports that OBL was dead (Saudi)

http://www.middle-east-online.com/english/?id=17571

It said that "information gathered by the Saudis" indicates that bin Laden "might have succumbed to a very serious case of typhoid fever resulting in partial paralysis of his lower limbs while in Pakistan on August 23, 2006.

"His geographic isolation provoked by constant fleeing is believed to have made medical assistance impossible (and) on September 4, 2006, the Saudi security services received preliminary information of his death."

L'Est Republicain said the Saudis were "waiting to obtain further details and notably the exact place of burial before officially announcing the news."

1. So this will fall into the Republicans' manipulative category of.....
"might have"......" may be"......."could have"........"there is the possiblility that".....? (They will keep this OBL puzzle going until Election 2006 is over.)

After the election.....it will be....

3. No but it seems obvious that they
did not intend this news to be released this early.

4. the boogyman can't die,
after all, we've killed the number 2 man twice. Sheesh, what is going to happen when the number 2 guy becomes the number 1 guy and this shit keeps repeating itself over and over and over? There is a faction of people here in the states that needs fear to keep them voting for this crap. Call it the base(the haves and have mores) or the silly redneck mofos that need to hate someone just to feel macho.

5. I sorta think that there's absolutely NO way we will ever know the truth.
Between the Saudis and all the various intelligence agencies of all the various countries involved (Pakistan, France, U.S., whomever else) tossing this story around, I just can't imagine that we're ever going to get anything but whatever dis/misinformation that best suits the purposes of the interested parties.

Even if they manage to produce a body at some point, I don't think we can every really trust what we'll be told. He could just as well be comfortably retired and ensconced in the Saudi Royal palace, or on a nice quiet island somewhere with a plastic surgery-altered appearance, happily counting all his BFEE/CIA/drug money, for all we'll ever really know.

and intelligence pin pointed his whereabouts US forces would go after him with or without Pakistan's permission...That was on CNN about an hour ago..
