I dropped campaign lit for 8 hours today
in rural Wisconsin... 180 miles on my car... I'm tired.

Didn't talk to anyone the whole day. One guy yelled at me from his house: "I DON'T WANT ANYTHING GO AWAY" But I left him the lit anyway and drive away real fast.

I want a Democratic Congress, buddy!

6. Thank you for all you did today
It sounds like you realy worked hard. Just remember the candidate you're working for. Hopefully your efforts will be rewarded in some way. Believe me, when you volunteer hard and work hard it does get noticed.

I've gotten perks over the years, trips to Clinton inauguaral concert with up front seating and Tuesday a fundraising breakfest where I'll get to meet John Edwards. All I did was just what you did, I've phoned and walked and today blew up balloons for a craft fair, and you're going to meet many wonderful people and network and they are going to see how dedicated you are. Your efforts will not go unnoticed. Not only will you make a difference, you'll be appreciated for it.

8. All I really want is a Democratic Congress
I am working for a terrific candidate (Bryan Kennedy), but working against Sensenbrenner is really motivating. Especially seeing him take such good care of the torture bill. What an asshole. Do people realize what is happening to our country? I wanted to stand out there and scream, but I silently put lit in boxes and prayed that it would reach people. It was raining and I kept going, I just want this so badly.

9. Believe me
What you did today made a difference. I guess I believe in karma. It helps the Democrats when any of us are out there (and I so believe that is true) but there is also something spiritual going on when a person makes an unselfish sacrifice of their time for the better good of society. I believe this, I really do.

13. I could see people coming out of their houses to get it
after I drove away- it may be the first time some of them hear of Bryan Kennedy. Its a great piece of lit, now people know they have a choice.

Great icon BTW!!
