Very interesting indeed. I know we have a few Pakistani docs here, I guess one of them is friends with the Pres. Would be interesting to find out which one.

Gen. Pervez Musharraf, President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, traveled to Paris on Saturday to visit with doctors at Paris Regional Medical Center.

Musharraf, who visited with President George W. Bush on Friday, also attended a private luncheon at a Paris physician's home before leaving the city.

In an exclusive interview at the luncheon, Musharraf described his visit with President Bush at the White House on Friday as "extremely positive." He declined to discuss media reports that he claims in his soon-to-be-released book that Richard Armitage, then the deputy secretary of state, told him in 2001 to "Be prepared to be bombed. Be prepared to go back to the Stone Age" if Pakistan did not participate in the War on Terror.

Reports circulated that on Saturday that Musharraf was ill or would be having surgery soon. Those reports are false. After visiting the the hospital he was eating and greeting guests at the luncheon.

2. I'm feeling a little ill...
after reading that. Maybe the connections between the Pakistani Intelligence and the CIA gives me the queasy's. Or, maybe it's just something I ate. Time for me to time-out.

3. Too bad it wasn't because of the film
,if he was going there because of the film, i might have to seriously wonder
about the guy, like that japanese tourist that froze to death looking for the
treasure from the film fargo.

7. I knew nothing about it either
until I read it in the paper.I will say one thing.
There didn't seem to be any advance preparations made in town or at the hospital.
