thank you for the heads up. I watched the last half and he was so good. He got in many times about the misinformation and lies being spread on the US media about Chavez especially Fox and CNN!

2. The media and the Bushies are in full court press now...
regarding Chavez. The misinformation and lies are running rampant now and probably won't stop as long as Bush is around. I doubt the people of Venezuela will pay much heed and they are the ones who count.

He gave a very good overview of how Venezuela sees the world as opposed to our corporate media that won't spend the time examining that nation's history and culture.

Its assumed that any country that detests booosh is "anti-American"...it's far deeper than that. It's what booosh represents...especially in South America...that has been victimized by the right wing for decades as well as centuries of European and then American exploitation. Of course we won't get that side of the story.

He's one of the few people whose explained what happened in the '02 coup and how relations have gone from bad to worse since then. Also how he feels the press is as free, if not freer in that country that it is here.
