"'Fox News Sunday' anchorman Chris Wallace says father Mike Wallace has 'lost it' - after the legendary CBS newsman told the Boston Globe last week that the fact George Bush had been elected president shows America is '-up.'

'He's lost it. The man has lost it. What can I say,' the younger Wallace lamented to WRKO Boston radio host Howie Carr on Friday.

'He's 87-years old and things have set in,' the Fox anchor continued. 'I mean, we're going to have a competence hearing pretty soon.'

Wallace Jr. quickly dispelled any notion that he was joking. When Carr suggested that his comments were likely to be covered by NewsMax, he responded: 'You know what? Fine. Go ahead. Call them. That's fine. I'll stand by that.'"

Remember, Mike Wallace was a supporter and friend of Richard Nixon, so it isn't as if he is an example of "liberal media bias."

2. I admire Mike Wallace more than words can say because he had moral

courage to speak truth to power. It's sad that his son has become so corrupt and pandering to the lowest common denominator, i.e., following FOX news talking points FAXed by Herr Rove.

11. Here is a prime example why sons should not follow famous

father's footsteps. Rarely does a son measure up to the intellect of the father. The son is perceived as "having the best of everything, education, money, contacts." He is perceived by his peers as having skated in on his father's coattails with less to offer than someone who has clawed his way up. He ends up being mean and bitter with 'Daddy Issues.'

I doubt that Chris "My Daddy is Mike" Wallace has even read the 9/11 Commission Report, Richard Armitage's book, or anything other than the "Republican Talking Points" fax he receives each morning. His knowledge was pitiful.

The self-deceiving little twit has mistaken lying and pandering for a "great" interview to rival his father. He has burned himself, but it will always be "Daddy's fault."
