2. Afghanistan did at least make some sense |
seeing how OBL had his training camps there.

6. No sense there either. The Taliban have regained control of Afghanistan. |
And ** didn't get Osama, either. What did attacking Afghanistan solve?

10. Well the "sweethearts" have regained control, so like I said, what |
did attacking Afghanistan get us? We cut and ran from there to attack Iraq, which had NOTHING to do with 9/11. Great strategy, huh?

11. Point being - sustained effort in Afghanistan may have been |
less costly and more productive in terms of disrupting terra-ist activities?
Then Helliburton would not be billions of dollars richer.

12. No, and I didn't say anything that should cause you to think |
that I thought going into Iraq was a great strategy.
Geez, no wonder Democrats can't gain any ground. And it won't surprise me if they manage to fuck up this next election even though as of a couple of weeks ago it was being handed to them on a silver plater.

16. That doesn't mean that attacking was complete nonsense |
One could argue that diverting rescources from Afghanistan (where the terrorists are) to occupy Iraq was complete nonsense.

5. Afghanistan wasn't even the right country. Why should innocent |
people in Afghanistan die and have their country bombed back to the stone age just because Osama Bin Forgotten was reportedly hiding in their country? I suspect that if ** really wanted to get Osama, he could have gone about it any other way then attacking a country's innocent population. President Clinton went after the perps of the first WTC attack with attacking a country and killing innocent people.
