Barf! Couric fawns over Rice in 60 Minutes piece

Why, oh why, are we subjected to Couric on one of the last real news shows left on network television?

She just did a butt-kissin' profile of Rice, showing her on her exercise bike, playing her piano, and pretending that she had something to do with the civil rights movement in Birmingham.

The toughest "question" Couric asked was, "To quote my daughter, who made us boss of the world?" which Rice of course handled easily. The rest of her "questions" were merely setups to get the standard GOP talking points.

What a sad, sad excuse for journalism this was! What absolute tripe!

the interview sucked, couric sucks and CBS obvously has no qualms with wasting money on contracts. katie and condie should have exchanged makeup secrets. That would have had as much gravitas as her "interview" with the secretary of state.
