account of Bush's Blitzer interview . . .
. . . one effort by Maliki, a hug and kiss for the Iranian president during a visit to Tehran, has caused many to raise a collective eyebrow. Bush, however, said he read nothing into the gesture and that Maliki's trip to Tehran was simply a necessary discussion between leaders.
"What's going on here is you've got the president of a sovereign nation going to a neighbor and making it clear to the neighbor to stop meddling with their new democracy," Bush said. "
. "Absolutely I take (Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad) seriously, just like I take al Qaeda seriously when they say they're going to attack us again, just like I take these extremists seriously when they say they're trying to disrupt democracies."
http://www.michnews.com/artman/publish/article_14198.shtmlThere is no one in the world who more threatens democracies than our President Bush. Yet, he cites 'extremists' who he says are trying to disrupt democracies.
The irony of his statements couldn't be more obvious. Maliki's regime, who Bush claims is threatened by anti-democratic forces, has been under seige from resistance forces in Iraq whose cause has been fostered, inflamed and aggravated by Bush's continued occupation, which his own National Intelligence report this week determined had made the threat from terrorism worse.
Iranian President Ahmadinejad has never made any threat at all to attack us, as Bush suggested. Nor has the Iranian president ever been proven by anyone to be attempting to disrupt Iraq's new regime. As it was pointed out to Bush, they hugged, professed mutual admirations, and made a cursory security agreement between the two countries. Maliki hasn't accused Iran in this vein at all. Ouite the opposite.
As for Iran, the Bush regime has made it clear that they want to effect Iran's government's overthrow by allocating $20 million and establishing offices headed by the vice-president's daughter, Elizabeth to coordinate and oversee Iraq regime change efforts.
The warmonger-in-chief is the regime change leader of the world, taking into account his misuse of the awesome power of our military forces to suppress and slaughter any and all in his way.
