Radical religious groups connected with extremists-Cardinal Vlk

Prague, Sept 22 (CTK) - Czech Catholic bishops believe that certain radical religious groups in the country, shielding themselves with Christianity and the Catholic Church, are connected with foreign reps of political extremism, both abroad and at home, but police said today they have no such information.

According to the press centre of the Czech Bishops´ Conference, Cardinal Miloslav Vlk recently spoke about extremism with the U.S. and Israeli ambassadors to the Czech Republic and with Rabbi Karol Sidon.

The church has nothing in common with these streams, Vlk, Primate of the Czech Catholic Church, told them in this connection.
