OMG! I was wrong about Keith

Years ago, when I joined DU, I posted on a thread about Olberman. I wasn't familiar with him except as a sports journalist. The hubby was a big fan of his. Now I didn't exactly dis him, but I may have mildly suggested that he wasn't all that great or something.

Have any of you tried to do that in a Keith thread? My poor little newbie rear end was handed to me before I knew what hit me. Jeez, I thought, I will never again enter the Keith worshiping zone.

And I stayed away ever since. I boycott all corporate media now, and haven't watched his show. But tonight I read the transcript and I am in awe.

So now, if some newbie dares to imply that Keith isn't THE GREATEST THING TO WALK THE EARTH, I will attack without mercy.:rofl: :rofl: Just kidding.

He was great tonight, though.

It was not only WHAT he said, that was 100% accurate, after all this time we have forgotten that newscasters are suppose to have B*lls and speak truth to power. It has been so long since I have heard it.
