I was born to be happy
I wasn't born to think about fear. I wasn't born to worry about everything.

I was born to expect happiness.

I wasn't born to have shoved in my face lies every day.

I wasn't born to see and disbelieve what this country has become.

I was born to be happy.

No more war. No more lies. No more death. No more.

I was born to be happy.

1. Me, too!
And no one can spoil it!

I may get aggravated and I may have a hissy fit now and then and get on my soap box and scream, but I will be happy.

I'm not depressed - just high strung and passionate!

2. I wasn't supposed to be born
In a world where the strong prey upon the weak as if that is ok.
Where friendship is devalued and called weak or wrong. And Sex is sometimes warped into a profitable addiction used to assuage a lonely soul looking for someone to care and share.
I wasn't meant to be born in a world where might makes right and if you are not on top you suffer and obey and there is no other way.
Where victims mysteriously choose before birth to be victims or where human beings are made to exist just to be exploited by the powerful.
I wasn't meant to be part of a world that will not let me be,and will not let me care or care for me.
I wasn't meant to be born in a world with bullies, sociopaths and authoritarian zealots in a society that stands by as these thugs rip apart the most beautiful noble things about love out of life just because they dominate they can get away with it.

3. I wasn't born. I was brought by a crow.
And lived in the dumpster where I was dropped until I was 35.

What nonsense! Nobody was "born to" anything. We might like to think so, but the world is what we make it, and what our parents made it. To say anything - to suggest that happiness is a natural state that doesn't require our work - might apply to the George Bushes of this world, but not real human beings.

4. It's in the genes
some were born to be happy,
others need prozac.

5. In other words, some were born to make drug companies rich
You might even say such people are born every minute.

6. We were all born to be happy, but
it requires some work. I think the kind of work it takes is well-documented, and takes place over a period of decades, because although it's pretty simple, it's difficult as well.
