Snow to raise money for GOP candidates
White House press secretary Tony Snow is taking his gift of gab across the country in the coming weeks to raise money for Republican candidates, an unusual task for the president's top spokesman.

On the job just four months, the former Fox News commentator is in-demand on the GOP circuit. He said he decided to help maintain the party's majority in Congress after some consideration of his proper role — and that doesn't include a lot of red meat rhetoric like some speakers offer at partisan events.

"They asked, and I thought about it a lot and we went back and forth," Snow said. "It's one of those things where I certainly want to help the president. But you have to make sure it's a fine line, and that's why I don't want to get into opponent bashing.

"The approach I'm going to take is not going to be one of going out and whacking Democrats by name, but straightforward comments about what the president has accomplished," Snow said.

3. Who was it that went to Minnesota to campaign against Daschle?
Broke Senate ethics. Republicans have no shame.
And he's going to speak about Bush's accomplishments. Ha - that should keep his speeches under two minutes.

4. "Tired" Tony and Pickles is the best they can do. Rudy G. will soon
be dodging questions about 9/11 first responders with lung problems.

9. What a hypocrite!
I remember when he was being 'interviewed' for the job (already a done deal or he wouldn't have been talking about it) on his XM radio show he spent one entire day having callers 'help' him with the decision whether to take the job or not. (How demeaning to Bush that he would pretend he couldn't decide.) He kept moaning that he wasn't sure it would be fair to his children, he would be at the WH almost 24/7. So now he takes on a campaigning job, too??? Evidently he has found he likes spending no time with his kids. They are ALL hypocrites. He probably has a girlfriend, too, who will be traveling with him. Like his boss.
