Well, as interesting as it may be (and enjoyable) to read ANYTHING where Ann gets raked over the coals--I'll still pass. Primarily because I have little interest in the subject matter (her).

But I sincerely hope the author doesn't get beaten up by the rw media, since they seem to worship her. It would be a shame for the work to immediately be dismissed if it has some objective and factual information about her, and she looks bad in the process. :)

12. Odds are good that debate on the book will fall on party lines

The koolaiders will say the author is mean, the lefties will say he's precise and insightful. Just from the review and my knowledge of that beast, I'm with the lefties!

The media, though, would have a hard time beating the guy up--even they get shy when arguing with basic, incontrovertible facts! Can't let their bias be detectable! They'll probably try to ignore the thing altogether if they possibly can, for to do otherwise would expose them for the craven shills that we know them to be!

:hi: The backlash on Fox news will probably be brutal, but also funny because it will be SO predictable. Of COURSE they are going to defend the fascist party doll. What else would they do?

Then again, they may choose to ignore it altogether--coulter IS a woman after all. Chivalry doesn't seem to be a strong suit of the chimps on that network.

I guess it could go either way...it will be interesting to see how this all goes.:)

revolting that one hesitates to buy a volume that approaches it in depth for fear of being misconstrued, or simply because one can't bear to even think about the horrible creature.

I suppose it could be compared to ordering, strictly for scholarly purposes, mind you, books with titles like Encyclopedia of Child Molesting, or Undetectable Torture Methods for Home and Work. The very subject matter is, shall we say....gruesome.
