You'll never regret attending a rally but just be prepared for it to be under-reported even though there will be thousands of cameras and the big eye in the sky the whole time. Rallies were instrumental in ending the Viet Nam War :bounce: and have not lost their effectiveness despite what they want us to believe. Please try to join us - we'll miss you if you can't but appreciate it's not doable for everyone. :applause:

1. I think large numbers in the street will be very beneficial to getting out

the vote.

I'm not sure congress is listening (eg the torture bill).
I'm curious about the level of involvement in this march by the DU.

thinking DU's level of involvement, er, not so much.

3. I will be attending in the Dallas area...at the moment, it looks like

good ole Dealy Plaza at 7pm. But there is also the possibility of an all-day event in the area. I will decide which as the day draws near.

6. I got 2 responses to my OP and none on the Calif Forum.

I realize it's on a "workday" (Thursday), but that's the point of the whole thing -- to make an impact. Guess it's just easier to complain on the computer than to actually participate in something tangible. :(
