How the Hell is Bush the “Terror President”???
Every election cycle since 9/11 we hear that “The War on Terror” is Bush and the Republican Party’s big issue. I mean, :wtf:

Before 9/11:
Richard Clarke cannot get Rice or anyone else in the administration to hold a single meeting on al Qaeda or any other terror group. And don’t get me started on Colleen Rowley, the Phoenix Memo, or Siebel Edmonds.

On 9/11:
While Bush reads “My Pet Goat” for 20 minutes, the inexplicable non-response by NORAD is so bad that they changed their story, in major way, four times. So bad that many of the widows of the Twin Towers banded together to insist on an independent investigation. After fighting off the investigation, Bush finally agrees to an ‘investigation’ (read whitewash) by his own hand-picked conies. See 9/11: Press for Truth.

After 9/11:
After a weak effort to capture Osama in Afghanistan, an effort that culminates in Osama’s apparently assisted escape in Tora Bora, al Qaeda relocates to Pakistan where it leads an active, successful terror campaign to this day. Meanwhile, Bush and the Republican congress spend 110% of our armed forces to capture and occupy Iraq, a country that had nothing whatsoever to do with 9/11.

So tell me again why terror is their strong issue.

3. Because he's so good at it?. . Terrorizing, I mean.
The Lord knows he works very very hard at keeping Americans quaking in their boots.

Me? I'm not scared enough to vote Republican, that's for sure.

6. He's definitely the "terror president" in the sense that the greatest
terror attack in United States history happened on his watch.

Nobody else was president on 9/11. He was.

And he failed to protect the country.

Why do so many people brush that aside?

13. Ten of millions are willing to give a pass on this and all else because
of ideology and religiosity: they want a different form of government.

on their actions. Actions so unbelievable that writing books on LIHOP and MIHOP theories has become a major cottage industry.

18. Cuz he is the decider
and he gets to decide what his legacy will be.
I mean, they are rewriting history and everything so that it will be just like he wants it--course that is cuz he is the decider.
