January 2001, Cheney SHELVES Hart/Rudman Terror Recommendations!
I am sure condi wasn't aware of this either. Even though Sen. Hart spoke with her the Thursday before Sept. 11 about it....

<snip>

Sept. 12, 2001 | WASHINGTON -- They went to great pains not to sound as though they were telling the president "We told you so."

But on Wednesday, two former senators, the bipartisan co-chairs of a Defense Department-chartered commission on national security, spoke with something between frustration and regret about how White House officials failed to embrace any of the recommendations to prevent acts of domestic terrorism delivered earlier this year.

Bush administration officials told former Sens. Gary Hart, D-Colo., and Warren Rudman, R-N.H., that they preferred instead to put aside the recommendations issued in the January report by the U.S. Commission on National Security/21st Century. Instead, the White House announced in May that it would have Vice President Dick Cheney study the potential problem of domestic terrorism -- which the bipartisan group had already spent two and a half years studying -- while assigning responsibility for dealing with the issue to the Federal Emergency Management Agency, headed by former Bush campaign manager Joe Allbaugh.

<snip>

Bush also directed Cheney -- a man with a full plate, including supervision of the administration's energy plans and its dealings with Congress -- to supervise the development of a national counter-terrorism plan. Bush announced that Cheney and Allbaugh would review the issues and have recommendations for him by Oct. 1. The commission's report was seemingly put on the shelf.

1. Cheney actually decided he would be in charge of terrorism...
but he did NOTHING. He was too busy wooing the energy corporations and reaming California and Nevada in the months leading to 9/11. The Bush administration was willfully negligent on terror.

3. I think "too busy wooing the energy corporations" is what Dick would
like us to believe. I think the real purpose of those meetings was planning their hostile takeover of Iraq National Petroleum. If those secret meetings ever got released, we would have clear, smoking-gun evidence of premeditated plans to invade/occupy Iraq. "Terrorism" was an inconvenient distraction to the primary task at hand. They did everything they could to lower the focus (take subs off-station, ground the Predator, shitcan Hart-Rudman Report), so they could devote their energies to the far more lucrative nation-stealing. Dick had no time for terrorism, nor did they want to hear about it. Obviously, Dimson was along for the ride, he had nothing to do while Dick was working on the pre-war gameplan. That's why he was on vacation 40%+ of the time before 9/11. Keep a low profile, don't do anything stupid that'll take Dick off task.

Not to say that energy companies weren't in on it. The 1st order of business amongst criminal gangs is always deciding on who gets what.

11. Iraq Maps at his closed door energy meetings
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2005/11/16/11388/342

<snip>

This map explains why those secret meetings were about.

Just like nearly every other meeting Cheney had several months before 9-11!

The secret energy meetings seem to have been about the coming Conquest Of Iraq--and which company would get which oilfields and exploration blocks.

This map has never been shown on TV or displayed in a newspaper as far as I know.

Here's the link: http://www.judicialwatch.org/...

9. Gary Hart has been kicking ass whenever he gets airtime. Clinton should've
backed up GARY HART on this when he first came out and through the years he was trying to get more media attention on the FACTS.

10. The key question: "What did the AWOL/moron know and what did he do .....
about it in the 8 months he was in office before Sept.11th?"

And if 8 months wasn't enough time to act........... how many days of vacation had he taken between January and September '01? Somewhere lodged in this computer is a CBS article from August '01 saying AWOL had broken the record for the number of vacation days by a president in his 1st year.

13. Bush was on vacation 40% of the time prior to 9/11.
Clinton (and all of us) should be asking one question, in unison, like a mantra: "What were they doing before 9/11?"

8. They were in full anti-Clinton mode back then
Whatever Clinton was working on or focussed on, they ignored or did the opposite.

There was a definite "let's prove that Clinton was wrong about EVERYTHING".
