Anyone who was at the Saints-Falcons game last night...
How did it sound when poppy bush tossed the coin?

Back in 91 I went to the MLB all star game and he threw out the first pitch there. The stadium erupted into a deafening, and overwhelmingly loud chorus of boos the second that they announced him. However, since I tape recorded it I was able to watch the broadcast later. Lo and behold; on the tape there was not a single boo. It's easy enough get rid of stuff like that even in a live broadcast, so I would just like to hear from someone first hand who was there what it sounded like.

BTW, I'm happy for Saints fans, you have a good team there. I was extremely PO'ed at the Chargers, that they let Drew Brees go to you guy's. He's a winner, a leader, and a damn good quarterback. With him and Reggie Bush, you have the core of a good solid offense for many years to come.

2. I watched the pre-game show with Green Day and U2 for 15 minutes
then turned it off. Technically I have all ABC/Disney channels on block, but I'm such a fan of these 2 groups and especially their cause, that I tuned in just for that 15minutes

I can tell you the city is somewhere above cloud nine this morning. The local announcers went insane during the game showing their impassioned homeiness.

Brees and REGGIE Bush have been excellent citizens as well contributing alot of time and money to civic projects.

One of the few joys in life is being in the French Quarter on a Sunday Afternoon after a Saints Victory.

4. Obviously, the "Bush" you're referring to is Reggie.
(see above post)

5. Thanks for pointing that out.
I thought Reggie Bush played for a different team.

7. Brees is one class act.
He did a hell of a lot in the community here, when he was here in San Diego. I miss the old "breakfast with Brees" they used to do on the radio every Monday morning after a game. Win or lose, he was always there, and always cheery and easy to talk to.
