Cheney only draws 125 for Wisconsin's Mark Green

125 people, out of a population of over 1 Million, is not a good rally.
It's dismal, especially at $1,000 a head one month out of an election.

The GOP has always had over-priced tickets, and Presidents and VP's get top dollar for photo-op fundraisers.....but only 125 showed up?
The Pfister Hotel can accomodate 1,500 people in the 9,000 sq. ft Grand Ballroom.
Lots of elbow room.

This rally occured at the time a Dane County judge ruled against Green's attempt to illegally transfer $1.3 Million from his federal Congressional campaign to his run for governor. Mc Cain-Feingold limits the to $43,000, but the state's PAC limits allowed Green more, and the court ordered him to return $467,000 in 10 days.
Green is, of course, going to appeal to the state Supreme Court.

Everyone knows that Cheney isn't popular, but he is able to raise funds for his lapdogs.

7. Well, I wonder how many in that "crowd" actually paid to attend?

I'm thinking probably half was Dead Eye's entourage, another 15-20 would be Green's entourage and staffers, and another 10-15 media people. You know how the repugs are horrible with numbers. They "see" 125 people when actual payees to the event was probably in the range of 25. Still too much money raised for a repug but...

And it doesn't hurt that Green has lost another round in court over his fund raising. Saturday Night Live in its hay day couldn't write comedy this good.
