Hey - Rapture Republicans
Isn't the "Mark of the Beast" supposed to be some kind of identifying mark The Beast puts on everyone, one they need in order to conduct business? Doesn't Revelations say that?
The Republican Congress has voted to make every state change its drivers licenses & id cards to a standard form which can be read by a scanner & access a database - or you can't use it to board a plane, vote or otherwise conduct business.
Sounds like the "Mark of the Beast" to me - which would make George W. Bush The Beast, spawn of Satan, the Great Deceiver of Mankind & Archenemy of Christ & Christians. Aren't Christians who are deceived by The Beast supposed to be denied Rapture & be cast into the Lake of Eternal Fire along with The Beast (George W. Bush, as we've just established)?
Don't you think it MIGHT be time to re-think a few "Voter's Guides"?

4. Actually the defination of who the Anti-Christ is quite scary
And not scary as in "Ooo-I'm scared"

But the fact that the Anti-Christ is actually someone who is known by the people and tries to come off as a "Man of God" even though he is associated with Lucifer.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antichrist

If the Anti-Christ is real - he's not going to be some person preaching about the wonders of hell. He (or she) will convince people he is a part of the church and perhaps push rhetoric that has not been clearly defined in the bible.

5. They'd believe it if bush's head was shaved...
and saw a big tattoo of 666...but, even with that I don't hold my breath.

8. Maybe it's not Bush
Technically he's not man of the church, just a church-going man. But when you consider some of the stuff that Falwell, Robertson, Roberts and a host of other big name evanglists have done - that's what :scared: me

6. By your definition of the anti-christ, that sounds eerily like Falwell
Or perhaps Pat Robertson!

9. That's what I'm thinking
They have the appeal to draw people into their ministry and yet half the crap they spew have absolutely nothing to do with the bible but their own degenerate revised version of the way they see.

Sad thing is - there is a good message in the bible ESPECIALLY in the Gospels. I think everyone should read the gospels no matter what their beliefs are because it's truly a good, liberal way of life

10. But, As Evangelicals, Aren't They All "Men of the Church"
Even Bush? If they witness, they draw people into the Church.
(Note: my name is Churchman - but I assure you I have neither numbers written upon my head nor any desire to lead people in a revolt against God.)
I've noticed that people of Falwell's ilk quote extensively from the Old Testament & Revelation - but have little or no use for the Gospels (all that Commie forgiving other people, curing the sick & making peace - yuck!)

7. If I were to believe in an Anti-Christ,
it would definitely be G.W. Bush. He fits the description.
