Bush Disagrees That Iraq War Raises Threat of Terrorism
WASHINGTON, Sept. 26 — President Bush said today that he had ordered the declassification of key parts of a major intelligence report that reportedly found that the Iraq war has helped produce a new generation of Islamic radicals and increased the terrorist threat.

The president was clearly unhappy that findings from the document, a National Intelligence Estimate completed in April, had made their way into news reports. The New York Times disclosed some of the findings over the weekend.

Noting that evidence-gathering for the assessment had been concluded in February, and that the report itself had been finished two months later, Mr. Bush said: “Here we are, coming down the homestretch of an election campaign and it’s on the front page of your newspapers. Isn’t that interesting?”

The president made the announcement during a brief White House news conference alongside a key ally in the fight against terrorism, President Hamid Karzai of Afghanistan.

his continued arrogance and incompetence with regard to his failed policies in Iraq and on his failed WoT.

10. Fuck you George!
I hope every dam GOPer loses his/her seat because of you! So far you've managed to break your own party (haha) into three groups. You've done more damage to the GOPers then anyone, anywhere for at least the last 100 years!

What I find interesting is that George CANNOT admit he fucked up on anything! I guess serial failure will do that to a guy.

17. Thanks. I suggest we all start calling him George.
Not W, or Dubya or all the other names we have for him. Just George. For some reason, I feel that would drive him even more insane.

14. "Isn't that interesting?"
Actually, Mr. *, what I find interesting is the fact that you concealed the information for 6 months and have been telling the public the exact opposite of what the data indicates in the meantime.

But then again,If the report had not been so negative of your actions,I'm sure you would have released it the day after it was completed.

24. *'s comments get more bizarre every day
Here we have 16 (count em),16 different intelligence agencies and groups with a consensus opinion that the war in Iraq has heightened, rather than lessened, terror in the world.
In this other corner, we have a failed oil man who couldn't find his ass with both hands, saying that, in his opinion, they are all wrong and he is the only one who is right.
I remember when I was told that the first sign of insanity was feeling the world was wrong and you were right.
I also recall another sign of insanity was for one to do the same thing again and again and to expect different outcomes.
With those two definitions, it can be asserted with a good deal of certainty that the whole damn bunch of *'s boys are quite chronically FUBAR.

:banghead:
