I take it Clinton's days of trying to be friends with Monkeyboy are over
Clinton has always shown that little turd more respect than he deserves. He has even defended him on several occasions.

Now Bill is finding out just how he is to be repaid: by having the little shit in the White House dump all his problems in his lap, accusing him for the crappy state the country is in these days despite the fact the man hasn't been president for nearly six years.

I'm not expecting Clinton to take the Jimmy Carter route and criticizing the Chimp whenever he can. I just think any attempts to build a friendship with that worm the way he did his father are now kaput.

1. That was never Clinton's idea.
He simply recognizes there are some efforts that even mortal enemies can work together on.

2. I disagree - don't think he tried to build a friendship.
Clinton has always been very diplomatic and rarely criticizes anyone. Up until now, he chose to stay out of the political arena when it came to Bush and concentrated on his humanitarian efforts (some with Bush Sr.).

So there was perhaps an unwritten presidential respect agreement between the two but that's about it.

3. He's a politician
He'll do what he thinks will advance his causes, regardless of who he has to deal with.

Fortunately, 90% of the time, his policies were good for the country. Compared to Smirk, he's a forking saint

4. And you know what Bush would say if Clinton confronted him about it?
"It's just politics," and shrug and smirk.

5. I doubt it.
Clinton can charm you right out of your socks. He knows it and is quietly proud of it--a rare gift--and probably can't resist eventually using it on junior, converting dimson into a Clinton rave overnight.

10. I certainly hope so.
I always remember as a child being told that we're judged by the company we keep...
