It seems weird to me that * and the DNI would release a scrubbed NIE report that STILL SHOWS THAT IRAQ IS WORSE AND WE ARE NO SAFER.

Why would they do that and how bad must the rest of the report be that they have no choice but to release damning information from it?

I agree, something is not right here in the "Homeland" even this summarized highlights is damning, what exactly is it that our dear leader sees in this that makes him say that all is well in Iraq and that we're misguided for seeing the terrorist threat increasing rather than decreasing? What the hell does he need, a picture book version?

Speaking of "Homeland", when, pray tell, did this terminology so reminiscent of fascist regimes past become the de-facto term for our country? I remember not once, ever being taught about the Homeland, or that we should defend the Homeland or any other such nonsense. I love my country and will defend her and her Constitution to the death, but the Homeland? I don't think so...

He also says that "His Country" as if he owns it, he never says "Our Country".......

10. Full NIE must be REAL POISON. Release of scubbed 3 pages must

be intended to get over the story lest it drag on till leaks of the
real stuff occurs. Leaker apparently did not have access to the
really nasty info.
