What does "it will look like a comma" even mean?

"Never put a period where God has put a comma." I've never heard it and am still googling to find out what it's supposed to mean - probably something like God isn't done yet. It seems to be one of those old sayings that have lost their meaning but people keep using.

I cant decide which is more disturbing - a president who talks in code to a limited group of people, a president who just dismisses everything that doesn't agree with his way of thinking, a president who reduces all the death and destruction he's brought to the world to a punctuation mark, or a president who's too stupid and/or lazy to say anything correctly.
