George Bush is a *wussy*

Sorry if my title is offensive but it's the best way to state this fact.

I was reading the thread about Garrison Keilor pointing out that Bush's jacket that says, "George W. Bush Commander in Chief" had insecurity written all over it and it just kind of clicked. We've all seen how Bush props himself up. One of the first pathetic examples was when he got all dressed up in the flight suit to proclaim how, really, he had won the Iraq war. Then, as is widely known around here, Bush doesn't allow anybody who disagrees with him in his cabinet. See ya Powell. How many other people who could have brought competence to this government have we lost because they didn't agree with every little thing Bush said?

The implications of this are right in line with what we have been seeing. Bush can't bear to admit he ever made a mistake. I seem to remember him being asked such a question. So instead of changing the course in, say, Iraq to one that has a chance of getting fewer of our children killed, we stay the course. He asks, "how do you ask a man to be the last to die for a mistake?" I'd rather ask, "How many of us have to die because you're not man enough to admit you made a mistake?" And this spiteful, little person has made the "tough decision" to order torture of how many people? Does it make him feel like a man? How much suffering does the world have to endure to maintain his illusion or delusion?

Now take a look at Bill Clinton on Fox the other day. "Yeah, I failed, but I tried. They didn't try." Is George ever going to say something like that? For all his faults, Clinton is a bigger man than Bush ever will be, by orders of magnitude. Can you see Bush on the Daily Show? I'll fly to New York to go see that one! And that includes dealing with the "oh look, we're doing something" security at the airport.

I've been a pussy myself, at many times throughout my life - some recently. But I realize it, apologize if necessary, and move on. I face my fears when I can see them. That makes me more of a man than Bush ever will be.

Unfortunately, America does need leadership. There are a lot of problems to deal with that need to be faced by someone who can face them. I have to wonder if the spiteful, mean policies enacted by Bush and the republicans (bankruptcy "policy," Katrina, etc.) are just an extension of the torture done to other people who can't protect themselves. Does that make him feel like a man?

I'm usually pretty forgiving of people. But George is just too much of a *wussy* for me to do anything but despise him.

I call * dicklet. Not too original, I know, but it took the deragatory female thang off the table and made me feel better in the long run, being that I am (and have generally always been) a woman.

The use of the term is not literal. It's like in "Team America, World Police" they use the term quite colorfully, but not literally. Again, the best way to put it, and frankly, it's the best was to make the point to lurking freepers.
