3. National Intelligence Estimate.
It's a document prepared by all of our intelligence agencies and branches of the military where they give their best guess on what the situation of world security is going to be.

This one gained everyone's attention through a leak to the NYTimes and Washington Post, in which they summarized it by saying Bush's War is not making us any safer - in fact, it's making us less safe.

Like we haven't known that for 3 years already.

4. Booosh Said The Same Thing In August, 2001
I think the one he kinda heard about involved airplanes being flown into buildings, but he was too busy falling off a segueway that day.

Let's call the NIE the smoking gun...it debunks the entire Repugnican "platform" of making this country "safer" and puts the focus on their fuck-ups in Iraq. It's a gift that we need to use to the max.

7. The NIE says the world is up shit creek without a paddle due to Iraq
It says such things as

the war in Iraq has become a "cause celebre" for Islamic extremists breeding deep resentment of the U.S. that is likely to get worse before it gets better.

the nation's most veteran analysts conclude that despite serious damage to the leadership of al Qaeda, the threat from Islamic extremists has spread both in numbers and in geographic reach

"If this trend continues, threats to U.S. interests at home and abroad will become more diverse, leading to increasing attacks worldwide,"

"The confluence of shared purpose and dispersed actors will make it harder to find and undermine jihadist groups."
