What is your prediction of the election in November?
Do you believe, the Dems will win at least one house back? Both? None?

1. It will be rigged
They will rig it so the repugs have gains.

11. A 5% flip (10% swing) in battleground races - Dems will need over 10%
to win. This does not include the massive disenfranchisement campaign already under way: in my precinct (Sheila Jackson Lee territory) over 25% (1 in 4 voters) of registered voters have been purged from voter roles.

2. I think we'll have gains
I don't think they'll let us have either house.
It will not be because of the voters.
I hope that I am wrong.

4. i think we will make gains.
that much seems a certainty.

will we take back the house?
well, the speeches we are seeing from are the beginnings of an aggressive campaign from the republick party -- and it will have some effect.

how much? i don't know.

and i make no predictions re:theft.

as far as the senate -- i think we'll make gains again -- but that's a harder nut to crack -- and would really take a lot of money to swing to be back in the majority.

5. If I were sure it was an honest election...
I'd say we take both houses. If we lose this one, I'll have surely decided.

6. I believe Republicans will expand their leads in both houses.
I'm not feeling real optimistic. Our intrepid Democrats can't even take a firm stand against torture. What good are they?

8. We will take the House for sure
and we have a good shot at the Senate too. The polls show us taking the Senate races in Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Montana. We are also narrowly ahead in Missouri and Tennessee now. New Jersey is the only Democratic seat in trouble but I think that Menendez will pull it out for us. If we win all of the above we will have control of the Senate. There is also a chance of taking Virginia if Felix Macaca Allen continues to self destruct.

9. no. i believe the diebold machines will outvoice our voices.
it is so much easier to do with the machines than with having to go full throttle to the SCOTUS to have them do it. the bushes found an easier way. they found DIEBOLD.

10. I'm hoping that the GOP
is so far in the shitter, that they will be unable to convincingly steal the votes needed to maintain either house.

12. It will be stolen ...
... and we will whine some more.

... and we won't do anything about it.

... and we will hold out hope for 2 more years.

... and ...

13. Something I've been hearing from the Kool-Aid drinkers lately
A phrase I've heard three times now in the past week and a half is "We're going to win in November even if we have to catch Bin Laden to do it." I don't know which right-wing whore this phrase is coming from, but every time I hear it, I stop and think about what kind of terror they're going to pull out of their hat at the last second to try to win the election.
