Are you or organizations you support working to overthrow the current RNC regime in Washington?

If so, be prepared to be disappeared.

2. This is not an impossible picture, since I am sure the OP was referring
to the spin on the new Geneva rules our elected officials are about to approve. The words "outside the United States" was removed in reference to anyone they can get and hold secretly. And the word "hostile" was added...which can mean any damn thing.

3. Exactly..."Hostile" means whatever the administration wants it to mean
and will apply to whomever they want... You, me, DU, ACLU, activists, demonstraters... AND, the Dems will not oppose this???!!!

Just imagine what would have happened to the anti-war movement (Viet Nam) if Nixon had such power.

Pack your bags and prepare your will.

6. He's right... according to the Washington Post
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/09/25/AR2006092501514.html

about "enemy combatants":

"The definition applies to foreigners living inside or outside the United States and does not rule out the possibility of designating a U.S. citizen as an unlawful combatant. It is broader than that in last week's version of the bill, which resulted from lengthy, closed-door negotiations between senior administration officials and dissident Republican senators. That version incorporated a definition backed by the Senate dissidents: those "engaged in hostilities against the United States."
