My take on the "October Surprise"...

Osama will suddenly be "killed" and his body brought out for public display? If I was a medical
examiner, I'd check the body for ice crystals. If not that, then perhaps to gain sympathy, an attack on the pres or VP. Not successful, mind you but just scary enough to gain a bounce for the GOP. Boy, am I getting cynical in my old age. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Any other thoughts?

4. You name it, I put nothing past this administration anymore

I've long thought bin Laden was dead and they're just keeping him on ice for an opportune moment. IMO you can't be skeptical enough after 5 years of non-stop lies from BushCo and the Repugs. They're lying fraudsters and I don't trust them or the corporate media (except for KO) about anything now. If they say it, my first thought is that the exact opposite is the truth.

5. We are in the Oct. surprise.

It is not that much of a surprise. It is a coordinated media campaign to once again reframe the Iraqi Blunder as a key element in the Holy War On Terra. Permanent war, nationalism, religious fervor, confusion, deception, and fraud all streaming 24/7 from the coordinated Bullshit Media System (BMS). It is exactly the same plan they ran in 04 and 02 and it worked like a charm each time. Meanwhile we are all Waiting for OBL.

6. Not only too obvious,

but I simply don't find it even remotely believable that they (meaning whoever supposedly is holding Osama's body) could keep his death secret for a nanosecond. And if I'm wrong (or simply in the event he really is killed and his body on display) it's not even remotely believable that an independent medical examiner would have a clear look at the body.

My advice is for everyone to stop obsessing on an "October Surprise" and instead focus on getting out the vote and trying very hard to make sure that this time there will actually be a free, fair, and honest election with all of the votes counted the way they were cast and enough voting machines or paper ballots in every single precinct in this country so that no one has to stand in line for more than ten or fifteen minutes before voting.
