...fatalities to US soldiers haven't risen proportionately....even though we lost 60 soldiers in september, compared to 34 in march....this is being spun as progress....murdering bastards.

1. They did that for an entire decade during Vietnam. People bought it.

4. I keep reminding myself

only a very few can say, "I've been had." More are likely to have a slow, quiet attitude shift but never quite acknowledge it. Let's hope the next 2 elections show some shift.

2. What I believe?
That they just haven't reported the deaths.
I think THAT is one of the reasons for holding the troops over and over and over.
You know as well as anyone who has had or presently has a family member over there how long the mail is. You know that there are weeks without hearing from your loved one because of where they might be.
It gives a pretty large window for playing with the casualty numbers, which, if they continue to climb can be used against these murderous thugs in the upcoming elections. I think you will continue to see the numbers underreported.

3. Until now,I couldn't bring myself to believe it...
but I think you're right...not only underreporting deaths, but also troops injured and unable to return to service. My son had already had surgery and was in germany before I was notified of his injury(by him,in a lortab-enhanced state).I also believe they are underreporting the mental harm these multiple deployments are doing to these soldiers.I can only speak for my kid,but he can't function in the real world after three war zone deployments.he is going back to iraq as a contractor(ahead of his unit getting called up again)

5. email email email
If enough of us email....CNN, MSNBC AND FOX and tell them that the "liberal" press has forgotten the Iraq war maybe, just maybe they will get the message. It only takes a minute to go to www.CNN.com or all the rest.... and email all the newsreaders...then tell them the next email is to their sponsors.
