October surprise, contact your Senators, Reps and Howard Dean
Tell them to start talking about it. Every Dem Senator or Congressperson who appears on any talk show needs to start mentioning that Karl Rove told the Republicans that he would have an October Surprise for them. If they bring it up EVERY single time they appear, when it comes they can call it what it is. They will not be in session, therefore scattered throughout the country and will have a hard time coordinating a response. Please contact them now.

2. will have a hard time coordinating a response?
Why are they so stupid and unorganized? Don't they have cell phones with text messaging?

This is a rant on them, not you.

3. I don't understand it either
It makes no sense that they aren't more unorganized and can't get on the same message.

I get very frustrated when I hear many of them who blow opportunities to get the message out.

4. Agreed. I'm not sure why they are SO disorganized. You'd think
they would all have cell phones with speed dial to 10 people, you call 10, they call the next 10, etc. I bet the Rukes do. At any rate, please call, email, write, etc. Forwarned is forwarned.

I'd love to hear the Dems start speculating wildly about what it will be. The more outrageous the better. Doesn't matter if it's true, just get people's attention!!!

Not one interview should go by without Dems mentioning it!!

6. Good idea.
My guess? Iran and "Wag the dog." They used it well against Clinton, and it's probably true now with Iran.

7. You're probably right but we need to organize to make it less
effective. Please contact your senators!!

5. How about a phone circle. You call 10 people, they call the next 10,
etc., etc., etc. Maybe we should suggest that they set this up BEFORE they adjourn. I'm sure the Pukes have just such a calling circle. They seem to "get the talking points out" very quickly!!

Anybody who works for a Congressperson or Senator and reads this site should be talking to them about setting this up.
